When you’ve carried out your search, brief details of items matching your criteria are displayed in a list. Your initial simple search may still produce hundreds of results. You can refine your results by using the options on the left of the screen.
The filters available are dependent on the items shown in your results list, but you’ll probably have the choice of refining by resource type, author/creator, date, and subject.
You can include or exclude terms as you choose by checking the box next to each option. Applying each refinement will reduce the number of items in your results list:
Once you’re happy with your results list, you can look at each item in more detail.
Click the title of an item to open the full display. This shows you more details about a single item, including information on how to see it.
You don’t need to return to the brief display to see the full details of any other item in your results list; once you’ve opened a full display, you can use the up and down arrows on the left to move from one record to the next.
Click the X on the left to return to your results list.
