The interim version of our main catalogue contains most of our printed collection items and some freely available electronic resources.
There’s a search box on the home page of the catalogue. This is a simple search: you can type anything into this box and the search will look at the different parts of the catalogue to find the specified words.
You can use a single word, several words, a phrase, numbers, dates, or a combination of these terms. Choose words that describe the subject of your research or enter the surname of an author and a significant word from a title. Click on the magnifying glass on the right of the box to search.
This search will return all records which contain the words austen AND pride AND prejudice.
The more specific your search, the fewer results you will get back. You can be as specific or as general as you want.
